A relative newcomer to the game, who was converted from a midfielder last season…provides the Retrievers with another good athlete who will challenge for time as a defensive midfielder.

 

BACKGROUND: A walk-on to the UMBC program after transferring from West Virginia University…earned All Howard County honors while leading the county in ground balls and face-offs at Glenelg…helped his Gladiator teammates to a state final run during his tenure…once procured 15 ground balls in a game…possesses excellent speed…was also a starter in basketball…did not start playing lacrosse seriously until high school…a fan of the ESPN show, Pardon the Interruption…is considering a major in Engineering…the oldest of six siblings, Rachel, 13, Sarah 7, Donny 7, Jack 5, and Shane, 3…son of Susan and Mike DeLore…born December 20, 1982.
