Looking to wrest back a starting position on close defense this spring...a very good athlete who had an excellent fall campaign. AT UMBC: Played in all 12 contests last season, starting the first six for the Retrievers on close defense...garnered 11 ground balls and only committed one penalty..saw action in the final two games of the 2001 season and gobbled up a pair of ground balls vs. Maryland. BACKGROUND: One of three Mount Hebron products on the Retriever roster...did not attend UMBC in the fall 2000 semester...did not begin competing in lacrosse until high school...a fan of the Detroit Red Wings and the movies, Braveheart and Last of the Mohicans...is the youngest of four siblings...son of Pat and Bill Preisinger...born November 10, 1980.
