BALTIMORE – All 28 UMBC home basketball games will be broadcast live on UMBCRetrievers.tv for the 2012-13 season, beginning with the women's game against Monmouth on Sunday, Nov. 11.  The men's and women's teams will each play 14 home games at the RAC Arena this season.  Each high-definition broadcast will include live commentary along with multiple camera angles, replays, and enhanced graphics.

Single games can be purchased for $6.95 or the entire season can be viewed by becoming a "Retriever Believer" by purchasing an all-access pass for $69.95.  The package includes all 28 basketball games, plus all other home events including swimming and diving, as well as all spring home contests.  In addition, all "Retriever Believers" gain access to all games in the broadcast archive.

The men's team will kick-off its home schedule behind acting head coach Aki Thomas on Monday, Nov. 12 against Eastern (Pa.).  In addition to eight America East home games, beginning with a mid-week tilt against New Hampshire on Wednesday, Jan. 9, the Retrievers will also host contests against local rivals Towson, American, and Coppin State, in addition to Cansius and Central Connecticut State.

After the opener against Monmouth to start the home slate, the women's squad hosts non-conference games with three local schools – Coppin State, Loyola, and Towson – as well as contests with Eastern (Pa.) and Hampton.  The Retrievers then start conference play with two straight January home games against Albany and New Hampshire.
