RETRIEVER UPDATE: For the third consecutive game, a Retriever opponent shot over 50 from the floor, as the host Hartford Hawks hit 25 of 49 attempts en route to a 74-57 victory over UMBC on Tuesday. UMBC has cooled from behind the arc, hitting just 1 trey in 11 attempts at Hartford. Junior Ryan Cook has been in double figures in four of five league games.
BEARCAT UPDATE: Binghamton had a one-point lead over Hartford at the half at home on Sunday, but hit only seven second-half field goals in a 69-57 setback to the Hawks. Guard Robert Mansell is averaging 17.8 points per game and has played 191 of 200 minutes in in league play. Binghamton is -203 (-11.9 ppg) in the first half this season.
