2009-10: Competed in 30 games and earned one start… Played a season-high 23 minutes on two occasions… Scored a season-best eight points on five occasions… Started on “Senior Night” and scored eight points, hitting two-of-four behind the arc vs. St. Joseph’s…Snared a season-high four rebounds twice, including in the Atlantic 10 Tournament contest vs. Dayton.

 

2008-09: Returned to action after missing most of the previous campaign…. Granted a medical hardship waiver… Led the team in steals with 27… Hit his only field goal attempt, a three-pointer, and had three rebounds, two assists. and a blocked shots at Boston U. on Nov. 14… Produced a solid game with 12 points and six assists at Auburn on Nov. 22… Scored season-high 14 points on 7-of-12 from the field with six assists. at Longwood on Jan. 3… Scored 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting and added four assists at La Salle on Jan. 28… Tallied 12 points on 4-of-7 field goals vs. St. Bonaventure on Feb. 19… Hit 6-of-10 from the floor for 13 points, at Richmond on Feb. 28.

2007-08: Missed most of the season following knee surgery on Nov. 21 to repair a fractured right patella (knee cap) suffered while playing basketball in August at home in Connecticut…Appeared briefly (1 min.) in the Boston U. game on Nov. 14.

2006-07: Hit 2-of-4 field goal attempts (5 pts.) in first college game at Boston U. on Nov. 10 ... Grabbed six steals and scored seven points at Kennesaw St. on Nov. 21 ... Hit all three attempts from behind the arc for 11 points at Providence on Nov. 26 ... Amassed career-high 15 points and added four assists and three steals vs. USC on Dec. 9 ... Scored 10 points with four steals at Richmond on Jan. 17 ... Nailed a big trey to give GW the lead at the 2-minute mark at URI on Jan. 27 ... Dished out seven helpers  vs. Richmond  on Feb. 21 and topped that with a career-high nine assists vs. Duquesne on March 3.  

BACKGROUND: Earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from George Washington and is pursuing his master’s degree in the same discipline from UMBC…  Averaged 18.4 points, 5 steals, 4 rebounds and 6.7 assists as a senior at Hyde Leadership under coach Steve Jefferson… Graduated from Hyde Leadership Academy in Hamden, CT, before attending prep school for a year at South Kent School in South Kent, Conn.... Led Hyde to the conference championship and the Connecticut state semifinal game as a senior… Voted the conference Player of the Year following his senior season by the league's coaches… Also garnered first team All-Conference and second team All-State honors as a senior by The New Haven Register… In his second year at Hyde, King became the first sophomore since Vin Baker to be named to the All-Shoreline Conference first team…Has two sisters, Shanna (22) and Shaquanna (16) ...  Enjoys lifting weights, playing the drums, and attending church… Son of Nadine King and William Tisdale ... Born Jan.16, 1986.
