Midnight Madness Invades the RAC Friday Evening

BALTIMORE—UMBC’s annual Midnight Madness event, which marks the start of the men’s and women’s basketball seasons, will take place this Friday, Oct. 15, at RAC Arena.

The event, part of UMBC’s Homecoming, will include free food and T-shirts, as well as performances by the UMBC dance team and cheerleading squad, the Down and Dirty Dawg Band and the Washington Wizards dunk group.

Fans will then get their first glimpse of the 2010-11 Retriever squads with a 3-point shoot-out and slam dunk contest.

Doors open at 10 p.m., and admission is free to all.
