Men's Basketball Opens Campaign vs. 2009 NCAA Tournament Qualifier Morgan State in Sunday Matinee at RAC Arena

The UMBC men’s basketball team opens its 42nd season of intercollegiate basketball and 24th at the NCAA Division I level as the Retrievers host the Morgan State Bears at the RAC Arena on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 3:30 p.m. The Bears, a 2009 NCAA Tournament team, are coming off an opening 69-65 win at Albany on Friday evening. UMBC leads the all-time series, 13-11, but Morgan State won last year’s contest, 67-60, at Hill Field House.
