Proctor Nets 26 More; Men's Basketball Edges Maine, 61-59

Proctor played excellent perimeter defense on Socoby, forcing the Black Bears to call their final time out with 2.7 seconds left. Socoby received the inbounds pass, and was able to get Proctor off his feet, but his left-handed effort from the left wing was a tad too strong and UMBC snapped a two-game home losing streak.
Proctor added a team-high eight rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocked shots in his 40 minutes of work. He is averaging 27 points per game in his last three outings and the 12 made field goals is the most he has garnered in a Retriever uniform.
