The UMBC men's basketball team (7-3) heads west to Morgantown, W.Va., for a 4:00 p.m. contest against the high-powered West Virginia Mountaineers (7-1) on Saturday, Dec. 15. The Retrievers were held 25 points below their scoring average in Tuesday's 58-54 loss at Central Connecticut and are looking for their first win in 14 tries against a Big East team. WVU leads the nation in scoring margin, outscoring its first eight foes by 30.2 points per game.
