The men's basketball team, hungry for a home victory, returns to the RAC Arena to entertain league foe Hartford on Thursday, Jan. 18. Tip off time is set for 7:00 p.m., with the WVIE broadcast (www.v1370.com) getting underway at 6:55 p.m. The Hawks are 9-8, 3-2 in the America East Conference under first-year head coach Dan Leibovitz. UMBC (6-12, 2-3 A. East) dropped a pair of close decisions to Hartford last year, after splitting with the Hawks in the 2003-04 and 2004-05 seasons.
