Men's Basketball Hosts Lafayette in Regionally-Televised Game
11/20/2006
UMBC and Lafayette meet for the first time as both squads are looking for their second wins of the young season. Tip-off is set for 7:35 p.m. and the game will be televised live by the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network. The radio play-by-play is available on WVIE (1370 AM), www.umbcretrievers.com and www.v1370.com. The Leopards have lost three straight, but all against national powers (Indiana, Notre Dame, St. Joseph’s), while UMBC is looking for two wins in a row after snapping a nine-game road losing streak with Saturday’s 56-49 triumph at defending MEAC tournament champion Hampton.
