The men's basketball team (7-11, 3-4 America East) will make its third attempt this season for a road win in league play as the Retrievers face Stony Brook (3-14, 1-6 A. East) at the SBU Sports Complex on Saturday, January 28. The pre-game show on WLG (and umbcretrievers.com) gets underway at 12:55 p.m, with tip-off set for 1:00 p.m.

UMBC is just 3-17 in two-plus years of America East competition on enemy courts. They have lost narrow decisions at Stony Brook the last two seasons, falling 61-56 two years ago and dropping a 42-40 contest in the 2004-05 campaign.
