Despite losing five straight, and eight of its last nine games, the Retriever baskeball team still has an opportunity to finish in sixth place in the America East Conference as they conclude the regular season at Hartford at 2pm this Sunday. All the action can be heard on AM 1300 "The Jock" at 1:45 p.m.

A UMBC win, combined with a Stony Brook loss at New Hampshire would give UMBC a sixth place finish and a quarter-final date vs. #3 Northeastern. Any other scenarios would drop the Retrievers into either eighth, ninth, or tenth place in the league and a game in the tournament's First Round on Friday evening.

UMBC defeated Hartford, 78-54 at the RAC on January 10.
