The UMBC Retrievers meet two of the top teams in the America East Conference this week at the RAC Arena. On Wednesday, the 10-3 Boston University Terriers invade the RAC, bringing a ten-game winning streak, and a victory over the Michigan Wolverines. And, on Saturday, the 9-6 Northeastern Huskies pay their first-ever visit to the RAC.  Both games tip off at 7pm, and the UMBC-BU game can be heard live on WJFK.

It’s FAMILY NIGHT OUT WEEK at the RAC, as any family of four can get tickets to the game, and a hot dog and beverage for just $20—that’s more than half off the actual price!!! And, on Saturday, the popular Kangaroo Kids will entertain at halftime.

See red-hot Kareem Washington go for 1,000 career points as the Retrievers try to send their Boston rivals back to New England with “L’s”. Washington is averaging 19.8 points per game in four America East contests, as UMBC is coming off a 78-54 win over Hartford. John Zito also tallied a career high 21 points in the game.

That’s UMBC vs. Boston University on Wednesday and against Northeastern on Saturday—remember, both nights are part of FAMILY NIGHT OUT WEEK at the RAC.
