	Cavell Johnson
	Position: Head Manager 1st Year at UMBC

Cavell Johnson will assist this year's squad as he completes his degree requirements in American studies in December of 2008.

The Fort Washington, Md. native had a memorable year in 2007-08, as he helped captain the Retrievers to the America East Conference title. The six-seven forward earned Third Team All America East honors, averaging 12.9 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. In addition, he was the recipient of the league’s Male Sportsmanship Award.

Johnson transferred to UMBC after competing at James Madison University from 2003-2005.
