Collegiate: Transferred to UMBC from Fairfield University after the 2007 spring semester… Practiced with the team last year and has three years of eligibility beginning with the 2008-09 season… Competed in 25 games for the Stags in 2006-07… Started 11 times, including eight straight vs. MAAC opponents… His first start was on Nov. 17 at Mississippi… Scored a season-high nine points on Dec. 4 at Providence while playing a season-best 22 minutes… Averaged 2.0 points and 1.6 rebounds per game in 10.6 minutes per outing in his initial collegiate season.

Background: Played his senior season at Chester High School where he averaged a double-double with 15 points and 11 caroms per contest… His strong play inside helped him collect a spot on the All-Del-Co first team, and as well as an honorable berth to The Patriot News Big 15...  He served his teammates as team captain during his senior season, and led the team to the Del-Co District I AAAA championship… Prior to his season at Chester High School, he averaged a double-double at Milton Hershey High School in Pennsylvania as a junior, netting just over 16 points and 10 rebounds per game… His teammates and coaches named him the most improved player following his junior campaign… Hershey finished that season with an impressive 26-5 overall record… For his career, Flemming averaged a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds per contest… A multi-sport student-athlete, who also competed  in football and track and field… Burned Justin Fry’s West Perry squad for 27 points and 13 rebounds during both current Retrievers’ senior campaign…  Earned honor roll and distinguished honor roll honors in high school… Is interested in pursuing a career in business or law… Has two siblings, Dominique and Tah-Jay Mclaughlin… Son of Kate Flemming… Born Dec. 25, 1987.
