» A donation of $1,000 to UMBC’s general scholarship fund was made in his name as the Chevrolet Most Valuable Player of the Game for UMBC in the NCAA Tournament game vs. Georgetown. His seven steals in the game (tying a UMBC DI single game record) was one shy of tying an NCAA Tournament game record.

» Named to America East First-Team All-Conference squad and to America East All-Tournament team. He and Jay Greene became the first two UMBC men’s basketball players to earn first team citations.

» Earned America East Player of the Week award on Jan. 7, 2008.

» Ranked within the top 100 players in the nation in three categories—rebounds (8.4 per game, 53^rd), steals (1.8 per game, 87^th) and field goal percentage (50.0%, 93^rd).

» His 194 field goals made was the most by a UMBC Division I men’s basketball player and the fourth-most in program history.

» Has amassed 1,300 career points and 713 rebounds.

» Scored in double figures in 31 (a UMBC single-season record) of 33 games and posted 13 double-doubles. Proctor has scored in double figures in 76 of 92 career games played. He came within one double-double of UMBC’s single-season record of 14, set by Kennedy Okafor in the 1998-99 season.

» In the America East Conference, he finished second in the league in rebounding, fifth in field goal percentage, sixth in steals and seventh in scoring. He averaged 9.4 rebounds per game in 16 America East games.

» Proctor’s 278 rebounds last season is the second-most in UMBC’s Division I history (fifth overall) and the most since Hall of Famer Breck Robinson hauled down 312 in the 1985-86 season.

»He played 1,193 minutes (36.2 per game), the second-most in a single season (behind Jay Greene’s 1,226 last season) in the 2007-08 campaign.

» His 60 steals in 2007-08 is the third-highest figure in school history and the most ever by a forward or center.

» Finished the season in the UMBC top ten for field goals attempted (388, 5^th), free throws made (110, T6th), and free throws attempted (154, 5^th).

2007-08 GAME HIGHLIGHTS

» Nov. 13: Recorded his 11th career double-double (first at UMBC) with game highs of 23 points and 10 rebounds in a win at La Salle.

» Nov. 20: Played a career-high 42 minutes at Lafayette.

» Nov. 24: Posted his 12th career double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds in the home victory over GW. 

» Dec. 11: Recorded his third UMBC double-double and the 13th of his career with 13 points and 11 caroms at Central Conn. State

» Dec. 15: Despite scoring eight points, he set a new career high with six assists at West Virginia. He had scored in double figures in the first ten games, matching his career high, set in the final ten games of his freshman campaign.

» Dec. 29: Recorded his fourth double-double (14th career) with 11 points and 10 rebounds at Ohio State.

» Jan. 3: Earned America East Player of the Game honors with 16 points and a career-high 16 rebounds at Stony Brook. The 16 rebounds by a Retriever was the most since Andrew Feeley grabbed 16 at James Madison on Nov. 27, 2004.

» Jan. 6: Reclaimed UMBC’s Player of the Game award with 21 points and 10 caroms at UNH, posting double-doubles in three straight games for the first time in his career. He earned America East Player of the Week award on Jan. 7, 2008.

» Jan. 9: For an encore, he scored 12 points and 11 caroms vs. Vermont and became the first player in UMBC’s Division I history to post double-doubles in four consecutive games.

» Jan. 16: Scored 19 points and added 15 rebounds in the 86-85 win over Hartford. Converted all seven shots from the free throw line in the game.

» Feb. 17: His career-long streak of 13 games in a row in double figures was halted in a six-point effort vs. Boston Univ.  

» Feb. 20: Bounced back by recording his 11th double-double of the season with 22 points and a season high 11 field goals and 10 rebounds in the overtime win at Albany.

» Mar. 15: Matched his season high by scoring 23 points in the America East title game victory over Hartford. He averaged 19.0 ppg and 7.3 rpg in three tournament games and hit 23 of 38 shots (60.5%) from the floor.

» Mar. 21: Posted team-highs of 16 points and eight rebounds in the NCAA Tournament contest vs. Georgetown. His seven steals was one shy of tying an NCAA Tournament game record and was the most steals by a Retriever since Eric Hayes recorded seven take-aways on Feb. 26, 1994 vs. Winthrop.
