Coach Stewart had his first full-time experience at the NCAA Division I level last year, as he was an assistant coach at Radford (Va.) University. He served as a graduate assistant coach at Marshall (W.Va.) from 2003-05, while earning his M.S. degree in Athletic Administration. The native of Christianburg, Va. was a four-year letterwinner at Roanoke (Va.) College and he averaged 7.1 rebounds per game as a starter in his senior season. He earned his B.S. degree in Health and Human Performance from Roanoke in May of 2003.
