HS to successive berths and multiple victories in the PIAA Class AAAA and Class AAA playoffs… he amassed 1,279 points in his career, fourth highest in school history… averaged 16 points and six assists per game as a senior… earned Central Conference Most Valuable Player honors and was named first team All Delaware County by The Daily Times … named third team All State by the Pennsylvania Associated Press… scored 26 points and added eight assists in a win over defending league champions Upper Darby… led the Cougars to the District III title at Villanova… averaged 14 points, six rebounds and five assists per game for Head Coach Kevin McCormick in the 2005-06 season… played the point guard position the last two years after two seasons on the varsity as an off-guard. ..earned First Team all-conference honors and was a Second Team All Delaware County selection by The Daily Times… led the Cougars to the state quarter-finals, where they fell to the eventual state champions from Lower Merion HS… also earned letters in lacrosse (two) and football (one)… an honor roll student throughout all four years at Springfield… interested in coaching down the road… considered other America East and Patriot league institutions, but selected UMBC “because of the nice campus, the location and the coaching staff”… a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and the movie Gladiator… has three younger sisters, Meghan (17), Madeline (16) and Ann (11)… son of Maureen and Frank McKnight… born August 30, 1988.
