County Player of the Year, as selected by The Washington Post and The Maryland Gazette… averaged 23 points, 13 rebounds and four assists per game last season for the Mustangs… selected to play in the Charm City All Star game and the Senior County All Star game… helped Meade to the regional semi-finals last year… as a sophomore, he led nationally-ranked Archbishop Spalding in field goal percentage and was a member of their MIAA championship team… played with Rudy Gay (Memphis Grizzlies) that season, but transferred to Meade in his junior year… graduated 10th in his class of over 300 with a 4.0 grade-point average… earned a Maryland Distinguished Scholar Award among his many academic honors… is considering a major in Financial Economics… lists his favorite book as The DaVinci Code and his favorite pro teams as the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles and the NBA’s Washington Wizards… has a pair of older siblings, Julia and Jerry… son of Gabriele and Jerry Jones… Johann Cubit Jones was born on Feb. 18, 1988.
