Kehoe entered the Division I ranks as an assistant coach last year, when he joined Bobby Jones’ staff at St. Francis University of Pennsylvania and helped the Red Flash to a record of 15-13 in the 2004-05 campaign. Prior to that, the native of Philadelphia served as assistant coach at Shippensburg (Pa.) University for the 2002-03 and 2003-04 seasons.
Kehoe completed his B.A. degree in Speech Communication from Shippensburg, after competing at the collegiate level for Clarion (Pa.) University (1997-99) and East Stroudsburg (Pa.) University. (1999-2001). The former point guard led Clarion in assists and steals in each of his two seasons. At East Stroudsburg, he broke the school record for three-point field goals in a season (66) and served as the team captain. Kehoe attended Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, the same school as Coach Monroe, and was a part of nationally-ranked teams in all four of his seasons as a member of the varsity.
Kehoe is the nephew of St. Joseph’s University Head Men’s Basketball Coach Phil Martelli.
