Background: A newcomer to the sport of basketball, as he only began competing at age 17…emigrated to the United States in 2002 and first attended the University of the District of Columbia where he did not compete in the 2002-03 year…spent a year at 2003-2004 NAIA champion Mountain State (WV) University (37-1), where he averaged 1.8 ppg in eight games… competed on the intercollegiate level at Northern Oklahoma College last season, but received limited playing time…earned Dean’s List honors at both UDC and Northern Oklahoma…is considering a major in Computer Science…has also competed in the sport of volleyball…calls Upper Marlboro, Maryland his home and Ronald Williams is his guardian…lists favorite professional team as the Minnesota Timberwolves and also enjoys swimming…he is the tallest player to compete for the Retrievers since 7’2” Pascal Fleury competed in the 1994-95 season was in his native land for the Bosnian War (1992-95)…born July 4, 1981
