Background: Earned Second Team (Pa.) All State honors after averaging 17 points per game in his senior season at Whitehall…also produced 6 assists and 3 steals per game and earned Lehigh Valley Interscholastic Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player honors for the second consecutive year…The Morning Call Player of the Year…top game of last season was a 28-point, 5-steal effort in the second round of the state playoffs…team earned LVIAC and District XI titles in his junior and senior seasons…as a junior, he led Whitehall to a record of 27-4, a conference title, and a District XI AAAA championship…earned third Team All State (AAAA) honors, and was the lone junior to appear on any of the All State teams… averaged 16.4 ppg, 6.5 assists per game, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals per outing…produced 12 assists in the first round of the state playoffs…also lettered in golf and was a district qualifier… considered Akron and UWGB, but felt UMBC “was the best fit for me, and I liked the coaches, players and campus”…Baltimore is a natural fit, as he lists his favorite food as crab legs…has an older brother, Jimmy, 21, and a younger brother, Matt, 14…Jimmy played college football... son of Denise and James Green…full name is Jason Greene…born December 15, 1986.
