Baltimore, MD – Sophomore Cecile Banas (Gaithersburg, MD/Wooton) scored her first goal of the season with under five minutes remaining in the game to lead UMBC (3-4, 2-2 NEC) to a 2-1 victory over Siena (1-3, 1-2 NEC) Sunday afternoon at UMBC Stadium.

The Retrievers took an early 1-0 advantage when sophomore Rebecca Schaller (Leonardtown, MD/Leonardtown) blasted a shot past Saint goalkeeper Kristen Heyde (Somers, NY/Somers) only 1:06 into the game.
