LEHIGH NIPS UMBC FIELD HOCKEY, 2-1

Despite a strong defensive effort by UMBC netminder Meghan Polek and defender Cecile Banas and Kristin Ramsay's third goal in two games, UMBC field hockey (1-1) dropped a 2-1 decision to host Lehigh. Ramsey scored at the 13:23 mark of the first half off an assist by Jessica Hall to give UMBC a lead. But Lehigh tallied at the 18:01 mark and got the game winner with just 10:38 left in the game to prevail. Polek made five saves in the UMBC goal.
