BILE NAMED NEC FIELD HOCKEY ROOKIE OF WEEK

UMBC sophomore forward Amanda Bile (River Hill/Ellicott City, MD) was named the NEC Rookie of the Week after netting three goals in a pair of UMBC victories last week. She began the week by netting an insurance goal in a 3-1 win over St. Francis (PA) and then recorded two goals in a 6-2 win over Siena on Sunday. She finished the year tied for second on the team in scoring (7 points) and third in goals (3g/0.21 gpg.).
