UMBC FIELD HOCKEY LOSES TO RIDER, 3-0

Baltimore, MD- UMBC's losing streak was extended to four games today after the Lady Retrievers fell to Rider, 3-0.Just ten minutes into the game, the Broncs scored all they would need when freshman forward Maddy Boulden blasted a shot past Retriever goalkeeper Karalyn Krieger (Mepham/Bellmore, NY). Bronc forward Christina Ang was credited with the assist after feeding Boulden a short pass from the left side of the post. In the second half, UMBC continued to put pressure on the visiting Broncs and recorded more penalty corners, 7-2.
