2005: Started all 16 games for the Retrievers and earned America East All-Conference Second-Team honors…ranked second on the team in goals (6) and points (14) and third in shots (27)…also posted two assists on the season…tied for 10th in the conference in goals per game (0.38)…selected to the NFHCA National Academic Squad for the third straight season…also earned America East All-Academic Squad and Honor Roll recognition…served as team co-captain and was named team co-MVP.

 

2004: Fourth on the team in goals (5) and points (13)…tied for second in assists (3)…started all 17 games for the Retrievers…selected to the NFHCA National Academic Squad for the second consecutive season…registered an assist on the game-winning goal against Towson…scored UMBC’s lone goal of the game in a 6-1 loss to Lehigh…had a goal and an assist in a loss to Albany, equaling a career high with three points.

 

2003: Recorded a team-high three assists…was named to the America East All-Rookie Team…scored UMBC’s first goal of the season in the 5-4 overtime victory over Colgate…started all 16 games for the Retrievers…had a goal and an assist in an overtime win over Appalachian State, setting a career high with three points…was selected to the NFHCA National Academic Squad.

 

Background: Was selected to the Southeast Pennsylvania First Team by the Philadelphia Inquirer...a senior All-Star at Philly Cup who was voted Norristown Times Herald’s 2002 Player of the Year...first-team all-league and team co-MVP as a senior…also a three-year Futures and two-year Futures Elite participant...named Most Outstanding Athlete at North Penn and received her high school’s Scholar/Athlete Award…an infielder on UMBC’s softball team as a freshman...also lettered in basketball in high school…plays the viola and also enjoys surfing…daughter of Barry and Freddi Troster...father played basketball and baseball at Ursinus College and played two years in the Continental Basketball Association…born on Sept. 25, 1985... majoring in biology and hopes to become a doctor or a teacher.
