Background: Named team MVP in 2002 and 2003…named Offensive Player of the Year in 2004…named Potomac News Player of the Year in 2003…selected First-Team All-District and All-Region from 2002-04…was the leading scorer in her region…was a Gatorade Player of the Year…helped her club team, the Capitol Pegasus Terps, qualify for Pool ‘A’ in the 2004 NIT, which groups the seven best teams in the nation…tried out for and made the Lady Mavericks adult team…also a highly decorated soccer player at Colonial Forge, where she was a three-year varsity starter…was treasurer of the SGA, vice president of the Latin Club and sergeant at arms of the Interact Club…a four-year scholar athlete…chose UMBC over Radford and Monmouth…daughter of Greg and Shari Hartman…has an older brother, Gregory, and an older sister, Kelly…born on Jan. 23, 1987…majoring in biochemistry and hopes to work in forensics or environmental studies.
