On Yanulevich: Finesse player…very strong midfielder/center player…has ability to see the field and still control the ball well, even in stressful situations…places her passes well… not afraid to take shots…can play midfield and attack.

 

Background: Named Baltimore Sun and Washington Post Player of the Year in 2004…an All-County selection in 2003 and 2004…Second-Team All-State in 2004…finished her high school career as Glenelg’s all-time leader in points, assists and goals…led her team to the state championships as a senior…also lettered in softball and was named Player of the Year by the Washington Post…a National Honor Society member in high school…daughter of Mike and Tammy Yanulevich…has a younger sister, Amber…born on Jan. 28, 1987…a biology major who hopes to become a physical therapist.
