2011: Made 15 appearances for the Retrievers as a junior, all of them coming out of the bullpen... Posted a team-best 3.60 ERA over 25.0 innings pitched... Threw four scoreless innings against Georgetown to pick up his first career win against on May 4.
2010: Used as both a relief pitcher and a left-handed bat off the bench, with 11 appearances on the mound and 10 at the plate… Struck out six in 13 innings pitched.
2009: Appeared in eight games in each a pitching and batting capacity… Struck out a season-high two in a scoreless inning in his debut against Wagner on March 7… Hit a pinch-hit double against Navy on April 7.
Background: Earned All-District First Team honors as a pitcher in 2008 and a first baseman in 2007, while earning second team honors as a pitcher also in 2007… Named James Wood High School’s Most Valuable Player in 2008… Broke a school record his senior year with 92 strikeouts and 74 innings pitched… Helped lead the Colonels to the Northwestern District Championship in 2007 and to the regional championships in 2008… Also lettered in basketball and was named to the All-Academic team.
