TOWSON, Md. – Wednesday’s baseball game between UMBC and Towson, to be played at the Tigers’ Schuerholz Park, has been canceled due to inclement weather.  The contest has been tentatively rescheduled for Mar. 20 with first pitch set for 3:30 p.m.

UMBC is 0-4 for this season after dropping a non-conference matchup with Delaware yesterday, 12-4, in Newark, Del.  Sophomore Ian Glassman (Basking Ridge, N.J./Rutgers Prep) went 2-for-2 with two RBI and a run scored to lead the Retriever offense.

The Retrievers are set to retake the field this weekend for a home-and-home, two-game series with in-state rival Mount St. Mary’s.  The two teams will face off in Emmitsburg, Md. on Saturday before returning to Baltimore on Sunday at Alumni Field.  Both games are scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
