Maryland Defeats Baseball, 10-7, Wednesday Evening

BALTIMORE—The UMBC baseball team fell to local rival Maryland, 10-7, Wednesday evening after the Terrapins scored in each of their first six innings. With the loss, the Retrievers drop to 7-18, while the Terps improve to 14-21.

Russo now has an extra-base hit in each of his last five games.
The Retrievers return to action at Stony Brook for a three-game series this weekend. The two teams have a double-header at noon on Saturday and a single game at 1 p.m. Sunday.
