Brainer Earns Baseball All-Conference First Team Honors 5/20/2009
BALTIMORE—Senior second baseman Brad Brainer (Chester, Md./Chesapeake JC) has been selected to the America East All-Conference Second Team, the conference announced Wednesday. Brainer, the lead-off hitter for the Retrievers this season, hit .343 with three home runs and 15 RBI. He led UMBC with 11 stolen bases 37 runs scored, while his 14 doubles were second on the team.
