UMBC VERSUS ALBANY CANCEL SATURDAY’S BASEBALL ACTION, WILL LOOK TO CONCLUDE SERIES ON SUNDAY
4/22/2006
Inclement weather has forced UMBC and Albany to cancel all baseball action on Saturday at The Baseball Factory Field at UMBC. The Retrievers and Great Danes will attempt to finish the series on Sunday at 12 p.m. as the two teams need to conclude game two which was halted with a 7-7 tie in the bottom of the seventh inning, play the seven-inning game three and the series finale nine-inning game four.
Rain started to poor with UMBC and Albany tied at 7-7 in the bottom of the seventh inning on Friday night. Scott Peddicord had a 2-2 count on him with no one on base and no outs. The game was halted at that point and will need to be finished prior to the start of game three in the series.
