RETRIEVERS AND TERPS RELOCATE WEDNESDAY’S BASEBALL GAME TO RIPKEN STADIUM

The UMBC Retrievers and Maryland Terrapins baseball game on Wednesday, April 7 at 7:00 p.m. has been relocated to Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Md.  The was originally scheduled for Shipley Field on the campus of the University of Maryland but delays in installing an artificial turf infield has forced the Terrapins to move the contest. 

 

The Retrievers will be in action on Tuesday, April 6 at George Mason University at 3 p.m., and will open their conference season on Friday, April 9 at 2 p.m. against Albany at The Baseball Factory Field at UMBC.

 

Directions to Ripken Stadium:

From Baltimore, MD
Take I-95 NORTH
Continue on I-95 NORTH
Take the MD-22 exit- exit number 85- towards ABERDEEN/CHURCHVILLE.
Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp.
Turn LEFT onto MD-22 W/ABERDEEN TRWY/CHURCHVILLE RD.
MD-22 W/ABERDEEN TRWY/CHURCHVILLE RD becomes MD-22/CHURCHVILLE RD.
Turn RIGHT onto GILBERT RD.1
Turn RIGHT onto Long DR.
