2011: Started in 32 games for UMBC, seeing action in a total of 38 for the year... Hit a career-best 13 doubles and drove in a career-high 26 RBI... Went 3-for-5 with two doubles and five RBI in the Retrievers' 13-7 win over local rival Towson on May 10... Went 3-for-3 in the first game of a double-header with Maine on May 1.

2010: Worked his way into the starting lineup in right field, appearing in 44 games, starting 41… Set career highs in all batting categories, including batting average (.286), hits (44), home runs (4) and RBI (17)… Hit two home runs against Stony Brook on May 8… Drove in a career-high four runs against North Dakota State on March 18… Recorded 13 multi-hit games, including four in a row from March 18-23.

2009: Appeared in eight games in the field and seven games as a pitcher for UMBC… Struck out a season-high four in his pitching debut against North Dakota State on March 19… Earned a hit and stole a base against Towson on March 11… Named to the America East Honor Roll.

Background: Played for St. Peters Prep in Jersey City, N.J. where he earned Second Team All-County honors as a senior… Was a All-State Prep “B” honorable mention honoree as a sophomore.
