2011: Started and appeared in 45 of the Retrievers 47 games as a junior... Led the team in hits (53), RBIs (31) and homeruns (2)... Second on the squad with a .315 batting average (53-for-168)... Recorded 18 multi-hit games, including four three-hit games... Drove in seven runs in UMBC's season-ending three-game series against America East rival Hartford.

2010: Made the transition from catcher to first base, playing in 46 games, starting 44… Led the Retrievers in batting average (.316), hits (49), home runs (4), and slugging percentage (.484)… Hit two home runs against Albany on May 2… Drove in a season-high four RBI against Mount St. Mary’s on April 28… Recorded 14 multi-hit games, including five three-hit games.

2009: Started 39 games for the Retrievers; with 20 coming at designated hitter and 19 at catcher… Named America East Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 26… Leading UMBC returner in batting average (.304), hits (41) and RBI (26)… Collected a season-high four hits against George Mason on April 28… Hit a grand slam and had a season-high four RBI in a 10-2 win over Hartford on April 26… Recorded 12 multi-hit games, including four in a row from April 25-28.

Background: Earned All-South Jersey First Team and All-Burlington County First Team honors… Batted .500 his senior year with six home runs and a .976 slugging percentage… Named Most Valuable Player for his Moorestown High School team… Helped lead the Quakers to the South Jersey Group III Championship in 2006… Also lettered in soccer.
