2010: Threw 16.2 innings in 19 relief appearances… Earned the save in a 4-3 win over NJIT on March 16… Struck out two batters four times… Named to the America East Honor Roll.

 

2009: Appeared in five games, including one start against Maine on April 19… Debut came against Navy on April 7, striking out one in two scoreless innings… Struck out a season-high three against Georgetown on May 12.

 

Background: Played high school ball at Arlington High School in LaGrange, N.Y…. Lists his best performance in a game was at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, N.Y., where he pitched a three-hit shutout for the Admirals… An environmental science major, UMBC’s science department was a major reason he chose to become a Retriever over going to another school, including Seton Hall and Binghamton… Born Oct. 16, 1990.
