2008: Made 14 appearances for the Retrievers including 12 starts and three complete games… Finished the season with 79.1 innings pitched, eighth-most in the America East… Tallied a record of 3-6 on the season with an ERA of 5.11… Struck out 35, while surrendering only 1.82 walks per game which ranked second in the conference… Led the Retrievers with three complete games, including the final game of the season where he struck out seven in a loss to Vermont.
2007: Made three starts for the Retrievers before sustaining a season-ending injury… Held the team’s lowest ERA during that three-game span with a 2.65 ERA… Recorded 20 strikeouts in 17.0 innings pitched for an average of 10.59 SO/9IP… Currently ranks fourth on the Retrievers’ all-time list for career strikeouts per nine innings with an average of 8.28 SO/9IP… Finished the season with a 1-1 record after pitching eight scoreless innings against Wagner… Allowed just four hits and struck out eight while holding the Seahawks to a .143 batting average on the way to his first career shutout… Named America East Pitcher of the Week for his effort against Wagner… Held his opponents to a .242 average over the course of his three appearances.
2006: Made 19 appearances for the Retrievers in his inaugural season including 10 starts, two saves, and one complete game… Finished the season with 63 strikeouts, tied for fifth in the America East and tied for seventh on UMBC’s single season chart... Recorded a final season record of 3-5 and an ERA of 4.89… Held opponents to a .251 batting average that ranked fifth in the conference… Pitched a no-hitter against Hartford, striking out four in 6.0 innings… Pitched for a total of 73.2 innings… Earned America East All-Rookie Team honors.
