2009: Appeared in four games before suffering a season-ending injury… Struck out a season-high six in five innings of work in a 15-2 win over Yale on March 8… Stuck out five and picked up the save in a 10-8 win over Long Island on March 20.

2008: Did not play due to an elbow injury... recieved a redshirt for the season.

2007: Saw action in 15 games, including making nine starts for the Retrievers.. Finished with a 3-8 record in 51.2 innings pitched, striking out 28... Struck out a season-high five against Albany on May 12.

Zawacki’s Background:  Played for James M. Bennett High School in Salisbury, Md., helping the Clippers to a 3A Maryland State Championship… In that championship game he went 3-for-4 and hit the game-winning RBI as well as recording 13 strikeouts… Threw two no-hitters during his high school career and was named to the First-Team All-Bayside in 2006 and Second-Team All-Bayside in 2005… Son of Jenny and Kevin Zawacki… Has two brothers, Ben and Lenny… Born October 28, 1988.
