At Maryland: Played in 74 games during his two years with the Terps and posted a .254 batting average... Totaled 44 hits, four doubles, three triples, and 18 RBI, and five stolen bases over two years... Tied for second on the team with two triples his freshman year... Had his best outing in a win over No. 3 UNC where he went 3-for-5 with two RBI.

Background: A three-year letterwinner at Calvert Hall... Served as a co-captain for the Cardinals when they finished the season 31-1 and won the MIAA title... Named the Diamond Recruiting Most Outstanding Prospect at the Mid-Atlantic High School Baseball Classic in 2004... Also played for Youse’s Maryland Orioles of Baltimore and helped them to an All-America Amateur Baseball Association (AAABA) national title...
