2006:  Made two appearances, amassing a 13.50 ERA, giving up six runs, three of them earned and five hits in 2.0 innings.

 

2005:  Received a redshirt for the season after making three appearances early on before being shutdown for the remainder of the season… Pitched a scoreless inning against Towson, striking out one batter… Allowed three runs on three hits against William & Mary in his only inning pitched… Did strike out the side to get out of the inning… Pitched two scoreless innings against Navy, allowing two hits with a strikeout… Struck out five batters in 4.0 innings pitched… Finished with a 6.75 ERA.

 

Duffy’s Background:  Played at Archbishop Molloy in Briarwood, N.Y., leading the league in all pitching categories during his senior year… Amassed a 10-3 record with a 2.30 ERA as well as pitching 93 innings and recording 97 strikeouts… Named to the Times-Ledger First-Team All-Queens County during his last year and helped his team to second place in the New York City Championship three years in a row… Lists best performance as a 72-pitch, one-hit complete game shutout versus St. Edmund’s… Played for the Bayside Yankees summer team for five years as well as playing in three NABL World Series when he was 13, 14, and 16, including winning the World Series as a 13-year-old… Majoring in interdisciplinary studies... Is the middle child of George and Jean Duffy… George played basketball at Manhattan College and brother Chris (21) played baseball at Queen’s College… Also has a sister Caroline (5)… Born November 21, 1986.
