2005: Started 27 games in his freshman year at shortstop and played a total of 31 on the season… Batted .173 on the year with 14 hits, seven runs scored and seven RBI… Recorded a .927 fielding percentage and helped turn 13 double plays… Opened the season strong, going 2-for-4 in his opening game with a double and three RBI against Old Dominion… Had two hits the next game and six hits in his first five games… Moved into more of a utility role during the latter part of the season… Recorded eight starts in conference play, batting .130 with two runs scored.
