<title>Men's Lacrosse to Host Fourth-Ranked Maryland at Noon on Saturday</title>

 <description>The UMBC men's lacrosse team will take on its fourth consecutive opponent ranked in the USILA top ten, as the Retrievers host fourth-ranked Maryland on Saturday, March 20. The opening face-off is set for 12:05 and the game will be televised live by WMAR-TV and on a delayed basis (same day, 2:00 p.m.) by ESPNU. Kevin O'Neill also has the broadcast on www.umbcretrievers.tv. The Terrapins lead the all-time series, 24-7, but UMBC has won three in a row heading into Saturday's contest.</description>

<title>Men's Lacrosse Falls to Sixth-Ranked Princeton, 10-5, in Horrid Conditions</title>

 <description>Princeton,N.J.—The sixth-ranked Princeton Tigers (4-0) defeated UMBC (1-4), 10-5, in miserable conditions at the Class of 1952 Stadium.
UMBC senior Kyle  Wimer extended  his point-scoring streak to 24 with a goal and an assist to lead the Retrievers.  Senior midfielder Maxx Davis added two assists for UMBC. The entire game was played in torrential rains and sustained winds of 25 miles per hour with much higher gusts.  Standing water appeared on the turf in the second half.

 <description>The UMBC men's lacrosse team takes to the road for the first time this season, as the Retrievers (0-1) take on Rutgers (1-0) on the RU Turf Field in Piscataway, N.J. on Sunday, Feb. 28 at 3:00 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb, 27, but was moved back 24 hours because of the weather event affecting the region. UMBC opened the 2010 season with a heartbreaking 11-10 triple overtime loss to Delaware at UMBC Stadium on Feb. 20. This week, the Retrievers are ranked 19th in Inside Lacrosse and 20th by the USILA. The Scarlet Knights thrashed host Wagner, 24-4, on Feb. 21.
