UMBC senior Kyle Wimer extended his point-scoring streak to 24 with a goal and an assist to lead the Retrievers. Senior midfielder Maxx Davis added two assists for UMBC. The entire game was played in torrential rains and sustained winds of 25 miles per hour with much higher gusts. Standing water appeared on the turf in the second half. UMBC opened the 2010 season with a heartbreaking 11-10 triple overtime loss to Delaware at UMBC Stadium on Feb. 20. This week, the Retrievers are ranked 19th in Inside Lacrosse and 20th by the USILA. The Scarlet Knights thrashed host Wagner, 24-4, on Feb. 21.
