Men’s Soccer Hosts Clinic for Casey Cares Foundation
BALTIMORE – The UMBC men’s soccer team hosted a clinic and a pizza party with the Casey Cares Foundation on Saturday, Mar. 2. The Casey Cares Foundation provides ongoing, uplifting programs with a special touch to critically ill children and their families.
This is the second-straight year that UMBC has hosted the foundation for a play day. The team gave instruction to the group from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and then treated the kids to a pizza party at the RAC facility on the UMBC campus.
“We had the pleasure of working with the Casey Cares Foundation last year and we had a tremendous experience,” said associate head coach Anthony Adams. “It’s vital that our student-athletes give back to the community and Casey Cares provides meaningful opportunities for the kids.
“We feel very fortunate to have formed a great relationship with this organization and playing a small, but important role in providing their kids with a great day.”
