Men's Basketball Defeats Frostburg State in Final Tune-Up

Senior wing Matt Spadafora scored 17 points as the UMBC men’s basketball team defeated Frostburg State, 77-59, in an exhibition game played at the RAC Arena. Junior center Robbie Jackson added 13 points and nine rebounds and sophomore guard Chris De La Rosa contributed 12 points and six assists. Frostburg forward Terrance Taylor led the Bobcats with 13 points. The Retrievers open the season on Sunday, Nov. 15 when they host Morgan State, an NCAA Tournament qualifier from a year ago.
