UMBC Cheerleading Squad

UMBC Varsity Cheerleaders perform at all home basketball games, other selected campus events, and travel to the America East Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships. In 2007 and 2008 we also had the privileged to support our basketball teams as they made their first ever berths (respectively) into the NCAA tournament. The cheerleading program is overseen by Talmesha Richards and Dustin Eby, who can both be reached at UMBCcheering@yahoo.com. Tryouts are held twice a year, once in the Spring and once in the Fall.
