Athlete of the Week: Mohamed Hussein, Men's Swimming and Diving

Senior Mohamed Hussein won three individual events and anchored the 400-yd. freestyle relay to the clinching win as UMBC defeated Navy for the first time since 2004. The Cairo, Egypt native proved his versatility once again, winning the 200 free (1:41.60), 100 fly (51.11) and 200 IM (1:52.81) against the Mids, all in season-best times. Last year’s America East Most Outstanding Male Swimmer, Hussein has won a team-best six individual events in the Retrievers’ first two meets this season.
