Athlete of the Week: Liam Paddock, Men's Soccer

Senior fullback Liam Paddock returned to the Retriever lineup and scored an early goal, leading the Retrievers to a 1-0 victory at Mount St. Mary’s. Just 7:41 into the game, senior midfielder Milo Kapor took the corner from the left side and his serve found Paddock eight yards from the goal. The recently-named 2012 ECAC Division I Scholar-Athlete of the Year headed the ball just inside the far right post to give the visitors the early lead. Paddock, a team captain along with Kapor, scored his third career goal. He had missed the first three games of the season with a lower body injury.
